Richard Hatch will be giving two presentations at the Holocaust Museum of Houston on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. At 3 p.m. he will give a family friendly magic show featuring audience participation and classical theatrical magic. At 6:30 p.m. he will give a lecture on Guether Dammann and his 1933 book celebrating the careers of Jewish magicians of the past, a topic profiled in the New York Times last summer. The evening lecture will include some performance pieces as well and the topic of Jewish magicians, with a focus on the life of Dammann himself, a young scholar of magic who became a victim of the Holocaust.
